LAUREN STERN / PRINCIPAL
For over 15 years, Lauren has been working with clients to transform their spaces. Her projects have been featured in Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Rue Magazine and on HGTV. She founded Lauren Stern Design after working at luxury firms, where she designed hospitality interiors worldwide. She holds an Associate Degree in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design and a Bachelor of Science in Fine Art and Communication from Boston University. Lauren is on the board of the Boerum Hill Association, the Brooklyn neighborhood where she lives with her husband and two children.
MILI SHAH / ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER
Mili joined our team in 2019 and leads our architectural projects. She has previously worked at STUDIOS Architecture and Handel Architects, where she contributed to a variety of corporate, commercial, hospitality, and residential projects, including the COACH headquarters in Hudson Yards, Bloomberg LP headquarters, and the Dream Hotel Downtown. Mili earned her Master of Architecture from Cornell University and her undergraduate degree from Emory University. She lives in Larchmont with her husband and three daughters, and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Mamaroneck Schools Foundation.
SHANTA TRUSEWICH / technical DESIGNER
Since 2014, Shanta has produced drawings for our projects, and collaborated on millwork design and space planning. Separately from our team, Shanta has worked on the designs of high profile residential, retail, and hospitality projects, including project managing the restoration of the Hotel Chelsea in Manhattan. She has her Masters in Architecture and Bachelors of Architecture from Unitec, in New Zealand. After almost a decade living and working in NYC, Shanta now works remotely for LSD whilst also running her own local hospitality design studio, Studio Sio, from Auckland, New Zealand.
DANIELLA MAYER / SENIOR DESIGNER
As a seasoned interior designer, Daniella handles conceptual and technical drawings as well as assisting the LSD team to bring all aspects of a project to life. Daniella previously worked as a designer in Los Angeles for 7 years, focusing on high end residential and hospitality projects featured in AD, Vogue, Elle Decor and more. She completed the Interior Architecture graduate program at UCLA after receiving a bachelors in psychology. She lives and works remotely from Chicago with her husband, daughter and dog.
