fisher island
When our long-time clients relocated to Fisher Island, they asked us to fully design their spacious and airy beachfront home. The owner has an innate understanding of color and scale, which made for another successful collaboration with an exceptional outcome. We reworked the ceiling planes and lighting to make the cavernous rooms feel intimate and inviting and scoured local stone yards to find the perfect slabs for the home’s fireplaces. The dining room features an 18' table crafted from a single slab of elm wood that we diligently selected and had built in Red Hook, Brooklyn and can accommodate a sit down dinner for 20 guests. We set colorful textiles and wall-coverings against expanses of white marble to create a home that feels like modern Miami with an extra dose of warmth and charm.
